SHRBP/HR Lead

  • Type: Permanent
  • Location: UK,
  • Reference: J10596

Our client is moving through significant transformation as a Group and repositioning themselves in the UK&I marketplace as a disrupter and innovator in their sector.

We are looking for a SHRBP/HR Lead to play an active role on the senior leadership team directing the future innovation of their direct to consumer proposition; incorporating a number of scale-up businesses. Their ambitious three year strategy will see them create further organic start-ups and acquire relevant enterprises within their market as this landscape continues to evolve and transform to consumer demands. Investment is robust for this entrepreneurial team to take them to new limits.

Relishing the opportunity to build their people strategy and roadmap, the successful hire will certainly prioritise; organisational development and redesign, cultural integration, capability review, and creation of future talent strategy. Leadership development and coaching will inevitably be a key feature. As a classic scale-up in maturing phase, there is a degree of ambiguity to navigate whilst operating at pace.

Whilst you can work remotely, team get-togethers are likely to be in their larger operations, easily accessible from the M4 in Berkshire and Wiltshire, so perhaps more appealing if you are living in this corridor. Experience to date as a SHRBP/HR lead within a consumer led business with exposure cross-functionally (corporate, data science, technology, supply chain, distribution) will be advantageous, and FMCG exposure is particularly of interest.

What a refreshing delight to work with a commercial partner who understood my business, and had regional awareness, a handle on the market, an effortless connection with candidates and could tolerate my Everest-like expectations. No doubt I would work with Debbie and Jo (White - her partner in crime) again on my incessant drive to solve the talent conundrum of the coming years. Keep up the great work, you are a credit to the industry.
