As People Director, you’ll be accountable for shaping and delivering the global people strategy, leading a team of generalists and specialists to embed all aspects across their employee lifecycle. Continuing to mature the function and associated technologies to attract, engage, develop and retain the very best talent in all functional areas across the organisation and across the globe. Organisational design and development capability will certainly feature here, as the business evolves and moves into new markets. Partnering the CEO, and working as a member of the leadership team, you’ll be a seasoned trusted coach and subject matter advisor who can also demonstrate valued contribution to a broader commercial agenda. This role offers a true generalist agenda demanding strategic thought leadership capability combined with know-how to operationalise and embed consistent activities across disparate global geographies, and colleague group of c.1600 FTE (and growing).

We’re looking for a HR leader with experience of operating as a Director in a dynamic, fast-paced, brand-led organisation with international / global operations. Ideally this experience will have been gained in the ultimate People leadership role within a small to medium sized global enterprise, or perhaps from operating within a significant business unit of a larger organisation that is closely aligned. Retail/Fashion/Consumer led businesses will be of most interest to our client.
Hybrid working will see you mixing up your time between London, the South, and home. International travel is sporadic.
