This is an opportunity to create and embed a commercially aligned people strategy across the employee lifecycle; enabling them to attract, engage, develop and reward colleagues to fulfil their personal aspirations and actively contribute towards achieving organisational success. Their current employee base is c.2200 FTE and growing.
Partnering the senior leadership team and their respective management teams, you will relish the opportunity to spend time in the business to understand the commercial and corporate operations, before clearly articulating a people strategy and vision that will engage this cohort to help you drive transformative organisational change and development.
Priorities will include; strategic review of existing HR team and their realignment to customer focused and commercial business partnering model, development of systems and process infrastructure to deliver meaningful data and organisational efficiency, implementation of a centralised direct sourcing model, embedding a consistent performance management approach, creation of a talent management and development programme – from youth through to key succession, and full revision of their compensation and benefits. With sites across the UK and two office hubs, the successful incumbent will manage their diary to spend time out in the business and visit their corporate offices as required, with flexibility to also work from home.
We’re looking for a strong HR generalist that could be an existing Head of HR/HRD or highly successful Senior HRBP ready for their first lead role. Experience may have been gained within a corporate organisation as HR lead for a BU/division and/or as HRD lead for a fast growth SME. Most certainly you will have worked for a business with multi-site operations, ideally incorporating both a white and blue collar employee group (non-unionised), and be able to demonstrate your HR and commercial successes touching both internal and external customers. B2B experience would be advantageous, but most importantly evidence of your ability work within a fast paced environment will be critical – Hospitality, FMCG, Retail, Logistics of particular interest.
