Our client is a private equity backed organisation, operating as the largest provider of specialist services in Europe, and the market leader in the UK (with over c15000 colleagues across multiple sites).   They continue to grow exponentially in multiple countries through M&A.

The UK is the largest market and the business is on a continued journey of organisational maturity and development, as the rate of growth has surpassed early infrastructure.  Organisational change and transformation to drive a more consistent and improved employee experience is underway, whilst business continues to move at exponential speed.  It’s a scale-up organisation with the complexities and challenges of moving into a more corporate structure.

Reporting to the UK HRD, you will play a critical role in the HRLT alongside specialist leaders and divisional HRD peers.  As Head of TA, you will play a leading role in developing their employer brand and attraction strategies, transitioning an operational recruitment function to a best in class in-house partnering team with direct search capability (Team c.40 FTE).  With a 95% demand for specialist hires in a highly competitive market, and 5% within shared/corporate services, it will be critical to build an unrivalled candidate experience journey that can satisfy current demands and build future talent pipelines.  Continuing to enhance their graduate and early careers programmes will also be fundamental, currently hiring over 200 graduates annually, and set to increase.

Shaping the TA strategy to align with the UK’s business plan and engaging key stakeholders, you will prioritise your end state operating model, implement newly acquired technologies, and embed improved operational processes and efficiencies.  This is a role that will require you to pivot frequently between strategy and ultimate operational accountability for delivering specialist hires in revenue generating roles, who have a direct impact on business performance.
