Head of HR – National Role

Reporting to the Chief HR Officer and partnering with a newly appointed COO you will support the divisional board of this multi-site operation. A conduit for change, you will act as an enabler to support in the articulation of their strategic plan and fulfilment of their ambitions to deliver long term sustainable growth through effective people interventions. This will span across organisational and cultural development to increase diversity, organisational design, exploring new ways of working and increasing leadership and management capability.

Culturally our client is very open, authentic and real, with very little hierarchy. As they drive the next stage of their ambitious growth they are seeking a HR leader who can role model a proactive and agile approach, demonstrating an appetite to embed as a business focused, strategic partner.

Leading a team of regionally based HR Business Partners, you will offer the proven ability to grow and develop others and to strengthen and bring together a remote team to encourage a shared goal. With a deep understanding of both business and people you’ll be a creative thinker and problem solver, comfortable with ambiguity and offering the ability to juggle competing priorities.

You will be working within a HR model that continues to evolve – driven through the clear vision of the CHRO. The pace is fast and sometimes furious but having built your career within a multi-site, operational environment, this will be familiar territory to you. With operations in the UK spanning from Scotland to the South, this is a national role and will require you to be truly mobile. On a practical level, you can base yourself from home or from one of their key sites although given the locations a midlands base location would be ideal.

Rem: £110 – £130, 8.5k car, bonus 15%, pension 4.5%
