Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team, this is an opportunity to lead on all aspects of development and training, including management/leadership development and professional development, apprenticeships, and compliance training.

This is a broad role and in conjunction with the SLT and senior HR colleagues you will undertake training needs analysis, and produce management and leadership development programmes for current and future needs. Leading a team of ten, you will manage and control the learning and development budget and expenditure (this will include apprenticeships) and coach senior leaders on a confidential ad hoc basis to drive high performance.
To succeed in this role you will have experience of management and leadership training and development initiatives from identifying the need, through to course design and delivery that shows a change in behaviour and mind-set, alongside managing apprenticeship programmes and grant sourcing and ideally of tendering and implementing a LMS.
With a strong competence in coaching, leadership development and vocational training you will have the proven ability to confidently identify programmes and solutions that build capability and talent for succession at all levels, satisfying both our current and future needs.
Based Nr Oxford, our client has regional offices in Gloucester, Trowbridge and Lincoln. At present home working is the norm, post covid you will travel to HQ circa one day a week, maintaining a visibility across the other regions on a regular basis.
£65,000 base plus £500 a month car allowance
