Driving Positive Change – Despite the challenges of the past year, 2021 will be one of positive change as our client uses the opportunity to reinvigorate their learning culture and build an appropriately aligned offering, in particular to their millennial and Gen Z population. In some areas, this feels like they are starting from scratch, so there is lots of opportunity to innovate and create.
Reporting to the People Director and leading a team of 10 (4 direct reports), you will led the development of the People Development Strategy, growing talent and harnessing potential at all levels.
Building upon a strong sense of belonging and a real feel of family and unity. The culture is open, honest and authentic. The environment is relaxed – none corporate. With a current colleague group of 6000FTE and 350 new hires currently underway it’s exceptionally fast paced and can be chaotic!
There is a real drive moving forward to focus on the well-being of colleagues and resocialisation (as normal operations resume) and a keen desire to build the D&I strategy, we therefore are keen to understand the experience you may have had in both of these spaces.
As an active member of the SLT you will partner and interact with the Exec team – presence and credibility is therefore important as is the ability to inspire your team and the wider colleague community. Your experiences to date may have been formed within the retail, hospitality or FMCG sector – wherever from you will bring the ability to innovate a multi-site and diverse colleague group
You’ll need to be in HQ (London) for a couple of days per week, and the rest of your time you will manage incorporating some time out in the business, and remote/home working – shaping this how you work best.
